Preah Vihear temple stands lonely in the forest
See this and pity the Khmer land.
All along the Dangrek mountainside so much suffering.
In our temple we see only sorrow, and
In the scattered stones feel regret in our hearts.
What was once perfect, we would want restored.
If the creators could see this ruin,
They too would be sad.
